Easter

We had Easter dinner at a neighbor'a house. The food was good and the company was nice. The boys got to run around and have an egg hunt with our Neighbor's family. They had a great time.

The boys getting their baskets on Easter morning. I had to cut Mark's hair pretty short after he decided to give himself a haircut (notice the big divet in the middle of his forehead!).

Okay, so I know that I could look a little happier. This is Easter morning and we were running late for church and I wanted to sing in the choir. The kids look good though!

Misc.

We went to the Washington DC temple to learn about the Savior before Easter and to have a
field trip with the Nickersons. We even had an Easter egg hunt on the grounds.

Mark is our sweet tooth and has to make sure that he gets every last drop!

Christopher usually resists napping but this day he was so exhausted that he and Mark knocked out together for quite a nice nap. This is about the only time that kids look like angels!

Chowing down

Christopher is growing up so fast and boy has his appetite increased! It must be all of the fuel he needs for that brain of his! Luckily my kids really enjoy a variety of foods and Christopher in particular took to the Morrocan food. He is starting soccer this week so there will be more postings of him soon!

Valentine's Day

Can you imagine a cuter Valentine than this?

Fat Lip

Mark decided that he would run on the hardwood floors wearing his socks and managed to trip over a visitors foot and fall flat on his face. There was blood everywhere and he had a lovely fat lip for 2 days. This picture doesn't quite do it justice, but you get the gist. Mark is very accident prone for those who don't know. In the course of a week he had a knot on his forehead, two bloody noses and a fat lip and that was an average week! (Okay it was a little more than average, but not by much!)

Anna Banana

Anna has been smiling almost from the very beginning (two weeks). She loves to "talk" cooing and really interacting. She is destined to be a teenager who is on the phone all of the time. She loves faces and will easily give a big smile when she sees one. It is a bit difficult to catch a good smile on camera though, but this one isn't too shabby!

Marakesh

Okay. So, here goes. I don't really like doing this kind of stuff but figure that our family in particular needs to know a little bit more of what is going on around here. So, this first one will be a bit disorganized and hard to follow. I am then going to try to provide weekly, or something to that effect, updates. We'll see how organized I am. I'll start with Little Miss Anna. She is a lot of fun and I am actually really getting into the dressing her up thing. All of her pink clothes and shoes and the other girl stuff. This is a picture of a restaurant we went to in DC called Marakesh. A very authentic Moroccan place. We had a lot of fun, belly dancer and all! The boys also had a lot of fun and liked to dance on the dance floor where there was even a disco ball. What more could one ask for? Nona was still in town and got to join in the fun, too!

Mark in all his glory

Mark has taken to singing in the bathroom. He really enjoys his time on the potty. Ordinarily he wants company, but the other day he decided to entertain himself and started singing "Take me out to the ball game" while doing his business! If only we all could have such fun in such unusual places!
